Environmental Effects on Ballistics

So it’s a nice bright hot sunny day. You sit down for a long range session. You dial in for wind and do everything the book tells you too. The first shot is a flyer. Ok it’s just the coffee I had on the way to the range. You look and make a quick adjustment. The second shot is off by an inch or so. You dial down the correct clicks in your scope and start shooting groups. As you look at your scope you start to reverse engineer how you got to where you are, your more than puzzled.
