There are a lot of beautifull 1911 here! I shot with a Kimber .45ACP weeks ago. It was a really strong feeling. I use to shoot 9mm (Glock) and compared to it, the .45ACP is a lot more accurate. I think it was the Tactical Custom

Well, here is mine. Its a Norinco, and actually one of the most accurate large caliber handguns I have ever fired ., I'm not kidding! I traded a hat full of .30 Carbine rounds to get it. Its no looker, but has sent many owners of other much finer pistols crying from the range,
I'm gona have it parkerized, apart from that I'm not fixing anything that works so well! _________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding whats for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote - Benjamin Franklin |

That's a nice trio you've got there. Nice photo. I'd put that as my desktop wallpaper _________________ Jon |

fortyhourdays: Thanks! Of all my rifles and guns these are my favorits. And to be honest, its the ones I have the most confidence in. 100% Schmoe free! I shoot IPSC rifle matches with my M1 Garand. Sure the other guys laughs at me when I turn up. Until they realize that both I and the rifle is for real.
Quick: Yeah, I like the look of the original war horse, so thats what I am going for. Besides, it need some coating. Its worn down to the bare metal in some places. _________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding whats for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote - Benjamin Franklin |

IPSC rifle match, its a sort of ''(Un)practically'' oriented rifle shooting. Its done in various distances, multiple targets and target placements in both height and distance. Anyting from close range up to 200yards usually. Its done on time, and on the move. There are diffrent classes and you can compete even with bolt action rifles(I do sometimes with my No4 ). But the most common IPSC rifle is a tricked out AR-15 of some sort, fast and very accurate! But not really my cup of tea... The M1 goes as a ''Major'' due to its large caliber, so I need less ''bullseys'' hits for each target as compared to a ''Minor caliber'' AR-15 type rifle. I am slower with it, and I need to reaload more often than a modern assult rifle, I wont ever winn te world cup chamionship, but hey! I have loads of fun and I look cool doing it!
I use my M1 Garand or my L1A1 Lithgow for most of the time. _________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding whats for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote - Benjamin Franklin |

Yeap as issued, wood stocks. No rails, no strange gadgets. Completly non-schmoed L1A1 just as she left the plant.
