Are you allowed to shoot that in Oz?

Yes I was "testing" it !! Dealers and collectors - no self respecting professional hunter would pay for it as a daily rifle.

I think your coming down to little river with that tomorrow, or they'll be trouble Laughing

Not what you normally think of when you hear precision rifle, but nonetheless that is what it is:

Sleeved M700 action turned single shot. Krieger 30" Palma contour barrel in 308 Winchester. Unknown stock maker. I added the adjustable buttplate and comb. Sinclair handstop/sling attachment. Stallings Machine 30 mm foresight and PNW rear sight, both with Gehmann adjustable apertures.

Been known to shoot in the high 590s at 600 yards prone with a sling.

Of course, I gotta wear this to shoot it

Currently waiting on one of Mel's Howa builds to go scope shooting.

Here's my Remington 700 in .308 police heavy barrel in an AICS stock and bipod topped with a leupold Mk4 M1 16x scope sitting on Canada's arctic tundra ... hope you like her.
