Sniper Central Custom Remington 700 Tactical Rifle (SC2) Test Results
Average Velocity Standard Deviation Extreme Spread Accuracy w/flyers Accuracy no flyers Best Group
2724 fps 11.93 36 1.744" 1.744" 1.242"
  • For some reason the SC2 would not shoot this round at all. I thought it was the bullet, but it shot the corbon 139 just fine.
  • Uses Remington brass
  • Very good standard deviation and extreme spread
  • Fairly hot load, should provide excellent long range ballistics
  • A large lot of ammo was custom loaded for GA Precision, but continued availability is questionable.

KMW Long Range Solutions Custom .260 Tactical Rifle
Average Velocity Standard Deviation Extreme Spread Accuracy w/flyers Accuracy no flyers Best Group
2826 fps 20.19 64 .816" .816" .415"
  • 4" longer barrel gains 102 fps over the SC2 22"
  • Ammo shot much better out of the KMW than the SC2
  • At over 2800fps, the ballistics at 1000y is as good as the 300 Win Mag 190gr Match
  • Very nice long range load

NOTE: "Accuracy with flyers" includes the raw averages including groups where the shooter called a bad shot before rechecking the placement of that shot. The "average without flyers" is the average group size with those "flyer" groups not added in.
