Sniper Central SC3 Tactical Rifle

Sniper Central is proud to introduce the SC3 line of tactical rifles. This line of rifles offers the same options as the SC1 line of rifles. The main difference, however, is the use of a Montana Rifleman model 1999 action. This action was designed by Montana Rifleman using the best features of the most popular actions and includes a claw extractor, three position safety, mud grove for operation in extreme conditions, side mounted bolt release, all steel floor plate, etc. You can find out more about the design by visiting the Montana Rifleman page HERE. The action probably closest resembles a pre-64 winchester 70. The SC3 series of rifles also carries the .5 MOA accuracy guarantee with Match ammo and a qualified shooter. The rifle does not come with the large bolt handle shown above, but is available at an additional cost (see price sheet). The barreled actions are accurized and finished to our specs by Montana Rifleman and then the barreled actions are finished with a ceramic finish and glass bedded in a McMillan stock.

We are impressed with the quality and design of the model 1999 action and are proud to offer it on a custom tactical rifle. These actions are very strong and robust, smooth to operate, and have features that we like much better than what is offered on the standard Remington 700 actions. The action, because of the claw extractor, is not quite as smooth as a remington, but there is no doubt about extraction! A small tradeoff.
