Peter Senich is one of the big name guys when it comes to research and writing books about the history of sniping. All of his books are loaded with historical pictures and copies of interesting documents. The books are purely historical reference, and contain very little narrative or discriptions, but that is what his books are suppose to be. This book is about the USMC sniper program and equipment during WWII and the Korean War. This is a period in US Sniping history that is left pretty blank. There were many American snipers in both of those conflicts, but the sniping programs were not official and therefore the data is difficult to find. Mr. Senich does a good job of putting together a better view and understanding of sniping during this period.
