When I first heard about a new book about Carlos Hathcock many years ago, I feared that it would be a direct slam against the very popular book by Charles Hendserson. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not and there is even a section in this newer book that praises the original book by Henderson… very classy. This book is more in depth look into the life of the late Carlos Hathcock II, not just his war time exploits. It covers his entire life, including such things as his successful competition shooting and many other accomplishments. There are a lot of historical photos and copies of important documents that pertain to Carlos Hathcock. This book is a great historical source of information and I strongly recommend it.
